Cobbs Creek 5K Run/Walk

Please join us on Saturday, April 23, 2011 for the 1st Annual Cobbs Creek 5K Run/Walk. This 5K Run/Walk is one of many new and exciting events occurring in the Cobbs Creek Park this year. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of the beautiful Cobbs Creek Park, its creeks, and he multiple resources the Park provides to our City. Come join us as we explore this gem on April 23!

Participants in the Fall 2010 Walk with the Mayor, at the start of the Cobbs Creek park trail.

The Darby-Cobbs Watershed Partnership is hosting this exciting 5K Run/Walk. This partnership was formed in 1999 in an effort to connect residents, businesses, and government as neighbors and stewards of the Darby Cobbs Watershed.

All Cobbs 5K participants will receive a T-shirt and there will be PRIZES, including a cool roof, rain barrels and other fun items.


Runners: $20 (you will be timed)
Walkers: $15
Kids (13-18 years old): $10
Kids (under 12 years old): FREE

Runners: group of 5 $60
Walkers: group of 5 $40
Additional participants in groups over 5: $12
NOTE: If you sign up the day of the event, you will be charged an additional $5.

A bag check will be provided.

Parking is available along 63rd street, but we encourage the use of public transportation.
