Overview

PWD has designed a Backyard Buffer Program specifically for you– a property owner situated along the Poquessing Creek, the Pennypack Creek, or along one of the respective tributaries, in Philadelphia. Through this program, PWD aspires to enhance the habitat surrounding our water sources, stabilize our creeks to protect against erosion, beautify backyards, and improve the water quality of our creeks.
